Jensen and Danneel's production company, Chaos Machine, extended their first look deal with WB late last year but have now exited and moved it over to Amazon. It covers both acting and producing. WB and the Ackles'

They went full '70s at both the Upfronts and NYCC so they'd be on theme because The Winchesters is set in the '70s

WB definitely isn't the place you want to go now if you want something developed. Especially with CW no longer under their partial control, it's useless to try to grow something them.

CW likely wont pick up the Supernatural prequel and MAX certainly won't do it so might as well start completely fresh.

wouldn’t have been the worst thing. I watched a bit on Binge when Apple gave me a two week trial and, hmm, I want to be kind but it was straight up bad lol

I really wish it was better, because the cast are adorable, but it... proved SPN was what it was because it started on the WB not the CW lol

I watched that finale and it was so bad. All that excitement they had over Jensen finally showing up as Dean and they spent him on all this really clunky "look see we didn't mess with your SPN canon, pinky promise" exposition.

as soon as that one character said “you mean the multiverse?” or something along those lines I peaced out, I have such low tolerance for secondhand embarrassment.

Someone explained that their Amazon deal is not equivalent to being hired, so I hope whatever they pitch gets QC’d to hell and back or Amazon straight up doesn’t order it into production. Danneel seems like a really great person (better than Jensen!) but she was not a good actress, and their producing work so far together hasn’t been impressive at all
