I know nothing about this - so it’s the Truman Show for Jury Duty?

How was he summoned for this jury duty if it’s all fake but he doesn’t know?? I have questions lol.

He answered a Craigslist ad of all things asking for participants for what’s supposedly a documentary about the jury process/experience.

You can volunteer for jury duty in California, which bypasses the need for him to be summoned.

They apparently filmed in a real courthouse (the vacant Huntington Park Superior Court), populated by background actors so from the outside & inside it seemed like a real working courthouse.

The guy in this looked so insanely familiar but I realized that I think it is just that all men on reality TV basically look the same in some weird way? Like he could be a contestant on The Bachelorette, Survivor, Love is Blind, Project Runway, any of them and I’d be like “yeah, makes sense.”

I'm just watching this now so I'm catching up on comments, but he really looks like Josh Allen to me (quarterback for the Buffalo Bills and dating Hailee Steinfeld).

I loved this show, TODD made me laugh with every look, and his makeovers omg 😆 and I accidentally ended up watching the whole thing in one day.

And the mormon soaking! Omg 🤣

Also, I got out of jury duty by sayibg I saw that no crime had been committed. It was a woman who was smoking a joint in a 7-11 while using a counterfeit $20 bill and I argued that she should have that right bc late stage capitalism sucks.

The judge was wearing a confederate bowtie and was having none of me. 10/10 experience, would upset that man again.

I didn’t expect to be sobbing at the finale, but there I was. Ronald is such a good guy. I loved that the last episode kind of served as a “reunion” episode too.

My favorite moments:

-No one seeing the defense’s animation until they presented it in the trial and some of the actors nearly breaking as a result
-Everyone realizing how upset Ronald became after James ruined the birthday party and realizing they needed to fix it immediately
-The writers/producers setting up Ronald to mention the “Family Guy” episode in the script then cutting it because they thought it was a long shot, only for Noah deciding to give it a try and Ronald saying exactly what they wanted him to say
-Production telling the cast they couldn’t get an alcoholic drink at Margaritaville until Ronald did, so they all proceed to encourage him to order first<\lj-spoiler>

I feel like they could include a lot more footage instead of showing how they walking around and telling him how they organized it.
Because that clip with Ronald being upset with James and James going back with a cake was best suited in the last episode.
Ronald is such a sweet guy and i think I can learn a few things from how he reacted at things that were throw at him.
I also love that they all friendly right now and it seemed that actors also in awe of Ronald -)

I loved the show, but I wish there were more episodes with them at a hotel.
