There are plenty of people who are trained to do so. There's no need for the actors to.

I don't blame her! I'd be scared of getting hurt. The professionals know what they are doing (and even then sometimes bad things happen).

I love Lizzie; I know she means well, and I DO believe the experts should be doing these dangerous stunts so they're done safely, but this is kind of the second time she's made a pretty flippant remark about VFX in a Marvel film. "Face replace, they do it all the time," as if it's not a laborious task for a very (openly, at this point) underpaid and overworked artist.

VFX is high-pressure, labor intensive, time-consuming, and woefully under compensated, but it isn’t *acutely* dangerous and terrifying like being dropped from 30 feet.

no totally but I think it's the responsibility of both the director and the studio to find a way to make an interesting shot that can be done safely, efficiently without resorting to "we'll fix it in post" or creating more of a spectacle of seeing stars do stunts

a double doing the stunt with a cut away to an insert of Elizabeth finishing the land is perfectly reasonable and affordable
