I can’t climb heights (I can’t even climb a small ladder), but I’m good on roller coasters. I don’t fully get how that works tbh.

I'm scared to look down from my own damn (third floor) balcony if I'm standing too close to the railing, but I have no* problems with chair lifts while skiing. Makes no sense.

* I don't love the portion where you have to raise the bar before you're fully up top but yeah, I can deal with it

I appreciate her saying this. Knowing that someone else (who is trained) can do something you may not be able to do and letting them do what they are trained to do is a good thing. Some actors/actresses can safely do their own stunts, and that’s great and all, but the “oh I can do it all” attitude is not the flex they think it is.

this is completely on the other end of the spectrum from someone doing their own stunts lol but you saying this reminds me of guys i've known who will let their nails get long bc they're too lazy to cut them themselves but will get so offended at the suggestion of getting a manicure bc that's ~a woman's thing~.

i've just started bullying men like this (and it's worked lol) bc there is nothing gendered about "i don't like cutting my nails. there's ppl whose job it is to cut nails. i will pay someone to cut my nails."

At some point, I'm not sure exactly when, it being impressive an actor did their own stunts kind of turned into an expectation and given how incredibly complex they are, I don't know why. It's a skilled profession. Let the trained pros do it.

Elizabeth always sounds like she regrets signing up for Marvel, and I respect that!
