I remember hearing that she turned down Devil Wears Prada and Casino Royale.

I can’t imagine her in Anne Hathaway’s role (I’m assuming it was that one) cause Anne has a naivety to her that I think Rachel lacks.

I always did wonder if she at any regretted turning down some of these roles, so I got my answers. But she’s always been lowkey and somewhat adverse to the big Hollywood machine. I think she mentioned that if she wasn’t an actress she said she’d love working in an office.

she walked out on the vanity fair (I think that was the mag) photoshoot when she arrived and Tom Ford asked the actresses to pose nude. I've respected her so much since then and been rooting for her.

Same! I remember that it was supposed a completely different photoshoot but midway they changed it. I remember Keira defended her for walking off.

but I really found myself disgusted with him for making/insisting on those changes. And I do not understand why Keira and Scarlett agreed to do it nude. They were already stars by then, no one was going to blacklist them.

Especially on non-white women, because body hair is often used to depersonalise and deny us femininity. I spent most of my childhood and teenagehood being made to feel like this hairy subhuman creature by the white society around me.

When I was body shamed at age 11 (“You don’t shave your ~legs?????”) in 7th grade…. It was a white girl 🙄🤨
