Twitter removed a viral video of BEEF actor David Choe seemingly describing a graphic rape because he filed a copyright claim. His co-stars and friends have not yet commented, nor have producers, Netflix, or A24. BEEF is the No. 2 show on Netflix right now

Shitty behaviour is shitty behaviour - it doesn't need making fun of, because well-adjusted people can already see it for what it is, and know that it needs to be taken seriously.

I don't know if the situation he described happened but I defintly believe he has raped or sexually assualted someone.

Also, this is most definitely not the hill I'm willing to die on but the claim that "Steven and Ali knew" as a fact makes no sense to me. Idk about y'all but I don't keep track of all the shit my friends do and it's pretty common that a friend won't fully know all your sides. I think it's 100% believable that Ali and Steven didn't know about that story, and blaming them does jack shit about holding David accountable. Fire him instead of demonizing the other two (who could very well be assholes as well, I'm not arguing that, just saying it's not really the point here).

Also we know Netflix and A24 are going to be silent about it, because their PR reps will say it's just "internet outrage" and "it'll blow over" instead of taking accountability. Then again, it's par the course for Netflix to give shitheels a platform, and all a studio would say anyway is "We're monitoring the situation and will take appropriate action"

Also I've seen way too many men who casually joke about rape and assaulting women who actually DO turn out to be rapists who assault women to not be grossed out by this.
I know someone who jokes about hitting his wife (who laughs with him) who has been arrested for DV.
