i just don't get it lol he can do whatever he wants with his career. if he just wants to be a cryptid and drop music randomly from home, he is probably one of the few artists who would be able to pull that off. if he doesn't want to do performances anymore, cool. if he doesn't want to release music anymore, up to him. but why fuck over the staff and clown your fans like that?

That is what gets me. He literally has a career most artists dream of having and got to that very early on. He has the luxury of not having to tour or put out consistent work. Complete creative freedom. Loyal fans and he still manages to fuck it up. I would say he needs to go away for a long time, but he’s been doing that lol

Exactly. Why agree to do this if you don’t want to? It’s wasting everyone’s time and just hurting his career. I’m pretty sure at this point in time no one expects him to perform live so why pick one of the biggest concerts in the country to headline just so you can be an asshole? Very strange.

Friends who stan him (or used to) say he's just not been into it for a while now and pulls last minute things like this at shows he's set to perform at. To do this at Coachella of all places is insane though.

I'm guessing he didn't just straight up cancel/walk out because of the festival ban against artists that do that and the payout.

I’m really happy that I got to see Frank perform live like. in 2013 right when he was blowing up cause I’ve never felt the urge to see him live again, mostly because of stuff like this.

I feel awful for everyone who spent so much money and time to see him, like there was time to pull out, he rescheduled this what? three or four times? like someone could’ve stepped in and done a good show with even two month’s notice. now who can they get with a week’s notice that is rehearsed and ready and prepared? probably no one.
