i saw blondie last month at a festival! i was late for their set but it turned out so were they lol. the crowd was leaving about 20 minutes after the band was supposed to start and i asked someone if they'd announced anything about why it hadn't started.

for context, foo fighters was supposed to play the day taylor hawkins died and they didn't announce they weren't coming on until an hour after their set was supposed to start, and even then the festival just said the band wasn't coming on. it was later the death was confirmed.

so this year when i asked why blondie hadn't started the guy was like "they haven't said anything... but well, they're old" i GASPED

I'm on the fence about him. I think he realizes that he is in a privledged spot but there's a way to say that without looking like an asshole. I don't know much about him but he always seemed to be passionate about PR affairs and if he's backtracking on that now it's not a good look. Also, the Kardasians/Jenners taint everyone they touch so ugh at that relationship.
