Sorry to the actress but Amanda is THE WORST. I didn’t even know she was already gone as I haven’t watched the last few seasons, but I’m still mad she’s coming back.

When the awful show runner left a few seasons ago, her character overall did improve.

I did a rewatch recently before catching up the last three seasons and there were entire episodes I skipped because of how awful Amanda was (maybe 17-19? Later?). But by the time her character arc was wrapping up, I wasn't as bothered by her and they repaired her relationship with Olivia decently.

I still don't understand her with Carisi but I just have to let that go.

One of the SVU writers, Julie Martin, is the biggest Rollins/Carisi shipper out there, and she's the reason why we've gotten all this weird, rushed *their love is a fAiRyTaiL!* business this season and the last. They're so underwhelming and it's such a boring storyline, but hey, at least your tumblr acquaintance and the other seven straight ladies who identify with Rollins on Twitter are happy. /s
