Genevieve, 42, decided to get a breast augmentation a year and a half ago.

Yes, I know this is a clear cut showcase of how women are pressured by society to make unhealthy decisions. But for once we get a doctor doing their job!

Also impressed by how Bad Breast Implants are en vogue internationally right now. Over here there is a strong connection to Insta Yoga Mums wanting to get rid of all their toxins tralala, and yes every implant can be a risk but don't use your past decision to dunk on science and health care because it will get you more likes from the tinfoil hatters.

This is not uncommon. New York had similar symptoms which is why she went on Botched to have her implants removed. She had a lot of breast tissue so the doctors were able to give her great looking breasts without the implants.

I follow Genevieve on Insta and she's not the monster that certain online spaces made her out to be. She's chill, loves her family, does a lot of interesting things, and has really been supportive of Trans kids in TX. I'm not mad at her; she fell in love with her co-star, retired from acting, and is living a relatively comfortable life now with her farm and family.

SPN fandom is mostly garbage (no offense to actual garbage), and the parasocial hate that gets directed at her is embarrassing to say the least.

Aside from that I know nothing about her, and if she had the ability and resources to be a SAHM, more power to her.

Her husband on the other hand, is a bit of a mess. I hope the rumors of his problem drinking are an exaggeration, or if true, he found or finds his way out of that.

This is weird but when I'm sick (immune flare up), my tattoos can itch or hurt for random moments. I got them done in the US by a pro in a great shop. But apparently it's normal for people with auto-immune shit to have this when dehydrated or sick or having an allergic reaction. Thankfully it's very rare but I noticed it when I moved to a city where I'm having a reaction to very, very hard water.

Or if I'm having my period and dehydrated, my whole body just goes insane, leg spasms, psychogenic stress-induced seizures, utter chaos....

I hear this a lot about red ink, which a lot of people are apparently (mildly) allergic to. It makes sense tbh!

I read that too! Red #40 can be deeply chaotic for people of all ages, (like even from babies eating it and having bad reactions or even just hyperactivity, so I get why dye and chemicals overall are so heavily regulated in parts of Europe), so that makes sense! Mine doesn't have red, but idk how the colors were mixed.

I'm still blown away from learning that the US FDA only bans 11-13 makeup and skincare ingredients while the EU bans over 1,300 I think. EU >>>

yeah, there was a pretty serious EU ban on most conventional color inks recently. I don't have any color myself and I don't think I ever will, which is just as well because I have sensitive skin.

A lot of women are speaking up about how much they suffered from their breast implants. I feel particularly bad about the women who had them after breast cancer, so it took them longer to realize what was causing it, because they thought it was maybe some effects from chemotherapy or the cancer itself.

I'm sorry if this is OT, but since approximately 1/3rd of women have dense breasts, they don't really have a way to check for lumps or cancerous growth, and 3D mammograms aren't accessible enough bc insurance won't pay. Mammograms are brutal enough, but for a woman with dense breasts they are excruciating and also often fail to detect cancer. It's ridiculous how the more I learn about women's health inadequacies in the system the angrier I get. Like this for example NEVER made sense to me and now I know why (because it's not based on logic or facts):

Yeah, I have dense super large (naturally, fml) breasts and the weight is genuinely killing me. I cannot wait until I get my reduction done. Hopefully it will cut my cancer risk because my family is riddled with cancer. (Two pancreatic cancers, breast cancer, 2x blood cancers and that's just my siblings/aunts & uncles)

I hope so too for you! I'd love to get a reduction as well tbh, but I know they'd just tell me to lose weight first (I'm like a size 6/8) They get smaller when I'm smaller. I just want tiny boobs. I'm trying to get the BRCA test but insurance is a pain.

labor and delivery nurses encouraged me to eat during the whole time I was in labor. Even if I needed a C-section, they said that the pros of eating outweigh the cons.
