I love Sophia’s voice. She’s gorgeous. I didn’t realize she and Penn were in John Tucker Must Die lol. I guess I only associate it with Jesse Metcalfe. Worth watching, ONTD?
Some parts def didn't age well (in a you can tell it was made in the 2000s way), but its a lot of fun and def holds up better than some movies from that era!
Thank you! I will give it a watch for some nostalgic fun. My sister bought it on dvd back in the day lol, it was a favourite of hers in high school. I’m sure she’ll be happy I want to watch it
It's a very 2000s movie, lmao. It's not a bad way to spend an afternoon and cast looked like they had a lot of fun making it so that's always a plus. Make it a double-feature with The Other Woman (Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann, and Kate Upton), it's like the grown-up version of it, lol.
There's a story she shared recently, I don't know if this podcast or another, where she talked about being recently at a bar for St Patricks Day and a man getting in her face with his phone and when she asked him to stop, he told her he pays her salary because he watched her work and she's just a piece of meat to him. It is so horrific to know there are women in her position of privilege and influence and without her position of privilege and influence that just have these daily interactions with men and just have to walk away because you're scared of what else they might do.
Sophia is a one-of-a-kind human being. Goes without saying that no one is perfect, has faults, blah blah, but she has consistently proven herself to be someone who genuinely tries to educate and fight and speak up for things.
