Yeah, I get the concerns with Kiss the Girl but this seems like it's missing the point of that verse in Poor Unfortunate Souls. At that point in the song Ursula is at her most aggressive and manipulative, it's clear that she's deceiving Ariel.

I thought when she sings that is cos she was mocking Ariel, that guys only prefer girls who shut up like that guy isn't the shit kinda thing.

I mean I understand what they’re trying to do here but it’s very clear that Ursula is manipulating Ariel isn’t it? Particularly, when Eric is trying to get her to communicate as soon as they meet.

Hope that poor unfortunate souls sounds the same as the original at least because it’s my fav Disney song!
