been playing but sims 4 is heavily modded lol i also get bored/overwhelmed so i barely really done actual gameplay im just ...building and then lasting 1 gen and then logging off

There is something very soulless about the Sims 4, for sure, but I still like the aesthetics of it so much better than the Sims 3. Sims 2 still reigns supreme though.

Yeah for what the Sims 4 may lack in depth/gameplay, it has really perfected its own aesthetic imo. When it first came out I remember people thought it was “cartoonish” but in retrospect, the Sims 3 was very uncanny valley realness and thus aged like shit. The Sims 4 has been around like 9 years and still feels visually quite fresh, which is impressive

i had the sims 4 and all the expansion packs on my old work laptop but then i accidentally broke said laptop and when i got a new one, i couldnt figure out how/where i downloaded everything from 😭

If you had an EA/Origin account then you can recover your login and packs from there. If you were sailing the high seas then I dunno 😢
