no, i agree. last year's lineup was so stacked that i was flipping through the channels all weekend (at night) and then bands/people i wanted to see still overlapped.

But this year even though I like some of these acts I’m also like “hmm seems kinda uneventful?? Just okay”.

last year, i was watching for stromae, megan, 88rising, CL, odesza, and acts i've always heard about but never seen like rina sawayama and pabllo vittar

It's interesting, though, because I don't think the second weekend has even sold out yet - I wonder if it will?
I'm interested in seeing so many acts: Frank Ocean, Gorillaz, Blondie, Wet Leg, MUNA, Björk, Kali Uchis, Charli, boygenius, Snail Mail, the Linda Lindas, Weyes Blood, Christine and the Queens. But I always end up finding new-to-me artists via these kinds of streams, too, so looking forward to that!

A lot of places stopped doing this in the last year and it’s been really depressing as a homebound person. To know everyone CAN do it but just don’t bother is no fun.
Love this & hope other events take notes!

Yep. It's so annoying to see all these tech conferences that can be remote (I mean, hello, it's TECHNOLOGY) just opt to be 100% in person again, like some of us live in bumfuck nowhere, not Seattle.

A lot of disability conferences have even been doing this and I’m like ummmm okay
