Tbh I don't much like Quinta and her rolling her eyes like 3x on camera when Jean Smart won the SAG (while recovering from heart surgery) kinda sealed the deal.

But yeah I still watch the show, even though predicting when a new episode is gonna be out is like gambling.

did she win it over her? If so then why is she not allowed a moment of humanity to be disappointed. It's annoying that something like this would change your opinion on her.

It's tough. I know when Angela Bassett lost, she was real, and I think people were kind, empathic, and understanding given her talent throughout the decades and not getting her flowers. It sucks having to play the good loser at times especially when your reactions are being filmed. I'm expressive with my face, so I know that I'd be a victim, too. I think the humanness to being upset and not winning is so valid, but I think it's worth pointing out that black girls/women get criticized for being "angry" or "sore losers." I remember this happening to one of the younger gymnasts years ago, I think Gabby Douglas.

Yeah, like why do black women have to be these superhuman people who only show emotion that is pleasant unless they've 'EARNED' the right not to do so. Everyone wants to win those awards and I'm sure everyone was upset they didn't, being human and having a facial expression not 'gracious' enough isn't something to change on someone over.

I thought it was really good acting between Janine and her sister. I LOVE that it's a wholesome TV show, but it DOES get real. It does sound like mom is a narcissistic parent, and Quinta posted a picture with Taraji in character at the school. I'm guessing mom is visiting and touring the school, so she is totally going to bump into Greg (uh-oh) and Ava.
