It's so awful because these are the types of texts that are found after a man murders his partner. Ugh he better be charged.

That was my first thought too. [TW for violence/death]A woman @ a shelter I volunteer at was murdered last week and the last text to her husband was her apologizing and saying she'd try to do better this time. Bastard beat her up and he was sobbing when the police showed up bc he 'never meant' to kill her. She was such a sweet woman, I hope he fucking rots. It's incredibly upsetting how so many women can't see how amazing they are and are led to believe they need the validation from these awful, violent men.

the thing is, from what i'm seeing, this swung people against him who were on the fence. the 'i still believe him' responses are minimal on phil lewis' tweet which is a turn from the weekend.

Yeah, and people will twist this shit in their favor because they will LITERALLY take her word, even though this is obvious coercion. They're going to victim-blame her. There are many types of DV, and at some point, the survivor will lay hands because they've had enough (if that's what she meant by the "fight"), and it goes to show that 1. this has been ongoing for a long time now and 2. this further explains the escalation for him to choke/strangle her because it's all hierarchical. They will definitely have to evaluate her because she may have symptoms of PTSD along with depression presumably, but they will need an expert witness or a psychologist to further explain the complexity of what DV looks like in her favor. It's not cookie-cutter. You can tell that she's afraid and is trying to protect him. It's all about power and control, and she's afraid. I've seen this pattern before. He really has her intimidated, and she knows how powerful he is especially when she said that she knows he has a good team. This lawyer is really dumb,

I have no idea how true this is and it's maybe a coincidence for all I know but I've had a few male cats in my life and I loved them to pieces but they were DISGUSTING and messy, compared to the female cats I've had lol. I have 2 lil ladies in present day. loved the males but man they sure did drop constant bombs on the litter box.
