I actually did listen, this morning. That’s why I’m so confused. I kept thinking “how can someone make the same album over and over and over again and again..” 😅

I feel the same about Kelly Clarkson and Pink hahaha. I can’t differentiate the ~eras~.

That’s just me tho. LDR is obviously doing something right, cuz she gets praised left and right.

fair enough. to me, this album is the furthest left she's gone in terms of forsaking hooks and traditional song structure.

i went to the fob listening party last week and really liked the album from what i was able to hear (the record shop was pretty packed and speakers were not the greatest lol). first listen last night i skipped the first two songs since i already knew them. loved it. second listen i played the entire thing through and i fucking loved it more. heaven, iowa and so much (for) stardust made me cry. i hope they play I Am My Own Muse on the tour (i'm going to the tour opener in chicago.)

i'm gonna have to have it for a while but i think this is going to be one of my favorites of theirs. (my top two are folie a deux and infinity on high)

OP! Fave post of the week. Listened to all of the singles. I did not save Hailee and The Japanese House. Saved all the rest. The National stood out. Sophie Ellis also because she had a Berlin vibe in that song and Bobby. Tessa Violet "you are not my friend is the new daily anthem.

Later this afternoon, I will play the ones on the Albums list you compiled.
