My 14 year old nephew is getting into BB. Last weekend, we had our big comicon. Giancarlo was there. I told my nephew how to make rock candy, so he made blue rock candy and took it to his meet and greet.
As soon as my nephew finished up chatting, he put the candy on the counter. Giancarlo IMMEDIATELY dropped into character and called him back to the table. "Joseph, this is 100% pure?" My nephew starts freaking out, "yeah..." then, "In a few years, I want you to come work for me. Will you do that Joseph?"
My sister was in the floor carrying on about the awesomeness of it all and my nephew was fanboying out like crazy. Giancarlo very easily made my nephew's Con, probably forever. He didn't have to. He could have just accepted the candy and moved on, or even said he didn't accept things like that, but instead, he chose to give a kid an experience he'll always remember.
Dead at his story about using the window. That's how my old roommates (not on the lease) used to sneak into the apartment when they didn't want to get caught by the landlord.
