Mandalorian summer camp (but make it violent) had me cackling. I side with Grogu. I too would rather play with rocks by the water than be forced to interact with other children.
I was rooting for him. Poor kid hasn't had a good meal in a while. Baby needs all the energy he can get if he's going to save the world and Din constantly
This is what Din has been trying to get back to since season one, his covert, his family, and I really loved seeing him getting to that point.
The Jedi and the Mandalorians both doing everything to protect their kids, really amazing parallel in this episode. And them getting Ahmed Best to be the Jedi who saved Grogu was a great choice.
I am cackling at the people bemoaning of this show "lacking of Din".... like GIRL... the title of the show is The Mandalorian, not The Mandalorian: The Adventures of Din Djarin and Grogu 🥱
I know the girlies need to be satiated with their Pedro Pascal dose... but Star Wars is too big a universe just for him...
I'm so glad this season isn't just Din going on more side quests. I'm really excited to see what the other Mandalorians are gonna do and if they're gonna get it together enough to rebuild their society.
They definitely can't hide the money maker under a helmet! I mean, he still can't speak and Din made it clear this episode he would have to be able to recite the Creed before putting on that helmet. Sooo I guess by the time Grogu can properly speak (which I think we WILL see at some point on this show) they'll have modernized the Children of the Watch to be able to take off one's helmet or Din and him have splintered off.
But I do want to know the Mandalorian solution for fitting non-human head shapes unter their helmets. Grogu would maybe just need a little extra space for his ears but what about Twi'leks?
Seeing Ahmed Best being badass and saving Grogu was something I didn’t know I needed in life! Poor Grogu was so traumatized by what happened 😔 I don’t know how he’s going to be able to walk with that new armor piece because it looked big on him lol
The rest of the episode was fun! I’m really liking Bo’s story this season.
