I saw this a few weeks ago and he was good in it. Josh was a little awkward and Jordan fisher sounded amazing. But the standout was Anna. She could get the Tony.

Gaten looked like the berries and cream guy tho in his wig 😭

Not sure what you Mena re: Josh being awkward...I thought he nailed it! (And his voice was as impressive as ever).

Agreed that Annaleigh was the biggest standout though.

I loved Josh in it! I just felt like he almost didn't get enough to shine of that makes sense. Like the dramatic ending felt rushed for me. I felt like if I hadn't seen the movie I'd have no idea what's going on.

But I loved it. They were all great

Gaten was pretty solid in Sweeney until the end. I didn't really buy his meltdown at the end but I loved him and Annaleigh's chemistry.

I mean he's a child who just realized he'd been aiding cannibalism and saw like 4 murders happen right in front of him and he'd been working for the people who murdered his former boss...I'd snap too!

Tho in the Hearn/Lupone Concert Todd invites Toby to put him out of his misery and I feel like that works moreso than what they have going on here.

That's one piece of credit I will give to the Debt movie version - I liked how, after Toby picked up the razor, Todd slowly and silently lifted his chin as if to say "go ahead and do it."

My karaoke wheelhouses are Disney Villain songs or 90s alternative grunge. My vocal teacher is trying her best to get me to develop my soprano range but I'm much comfier singing lower. About the lowest I can go is "Sex and Candy" and I can only hit the bottom notes in that once in a blue moon but I know it's possible, lol.

I have a playlist of angry shit to yell in the car; there are too many tracks on it to list.
