I like this show but it’s meh that Gilmore Girls won zero major awards and this show did, because Gilmore had better writing, plot and characters and much more heart and this show is more style over substance.

Man, at the end of S4 we knew Mei deserved better, but now it turns out she REALLY REALLY deserves better bc Stephanie Hsu is awesome and can handle more material than being a Midge knockoff and having (it seems) Lane Kim's incredibly dismal fate!! If she has to give up med school bc of Joel's dumb dick I'm gonna lose my mind.
