Howard's End - we're not going to focus on the Anthony/Thompson age gap (ya I know different times period piece) but do worry about how sexy HBC in her making out scenes
Angel's Share - you could say I'm becoming a Ken Loach girlie. Wholesome, depressing; simultaneously
McQueen - I thought I knew how rough he had it but shit he had it rough
Deux jours, une nuit and La vie en rose - I don't like Marion Cotillard the person, but she can carry a film (being annoying) when she wants to
Guillermo's Pinocchio - brutal, cool!
The Cake Maker - sob, how delicious
Les Misérables - everyone's a loser, why do the French do tragedy so well

In Bruges - I was quite underwhelmed by it. The humour didn’t work for me, and I usually like the directors work.
High Fidelity - a rewatch (although I haven’t watched it for 10ish years). Entertaining but the ending is unintentionally depressing. John Cusack’s character was awful.
I re-watched Creed 1 and 2. Finally saw Creed 3, and I really appreciated that MBJ did something different with the formula. I could have done with a 20 minute longer running time, because I felt quite sympathetic to Jonathan Majors character and I’m not sure that was intentional.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was Eh, ok, on In Bruges.

I wish we got Inside. We got Bo's Inside when it came out, so maybe one day. I'm going to see the preview for Dungeons and Dragons.
