I hoped they made part 2 at the same time because otherwise we'd have an Allegiant part 1 situation lmao. I just don't think this is gonna be successful. And you know Marc Platt produced his son's star vehicle he's a nepodaddy to the core.

It is a really cute movie and I had fun watching it in the movie theater!

I thought the last song in the show was Defying Gravity after i saw the 30 minute extremely condensed half in Japanese version at Universal Studios Japan. When I saw it on Broadway i was shocked there was an entire second act.

Nothing about this musical needed two parts lmao. And the two songs everyone knows are in the first act, so I wonder how that will affect things. I can see them trying to shift Defying Gravity just to entice people to see part 2. Will it make sense? Absolutely not, but I can see them trying it.

Sidenote, but I always felt the second act of Wicked is kinda convoluted, the first act always felt much stronger to me.
