I’m an Oscar completist, or at least I try to be anyways so I was gonna break down and watch Blonde…but the little preview clip was just Ana screaming horribly while a man told her to calm down and I was just like nope not doing this. One of the things I love about Michelle and Cate being the front runners is that their roles were so complex and interesting and they didn’t have to be humiliated on screen or put through the wringer as a justification for ~art~ or awards attention. Just two powerhouses showing off lol
