video: say you'll be there was def an ~awakening~ plus the faster pussycat kill kill of it all, ive always had a soft spot for it. too much was probably one of their best videos tho

its still wild to me that they were only really big for 2 years, wannabe was 96 and geri left in 98. forever was a cute era but yeah

Yeah its crazy how much they fit into such a short period of time looking back, with the marketing, movie, the first two albums, all the number 1s etc. I kind of wonder if they'd would've been so popular if things had been spread out over a longer period of time, and it hadn't all been so intense/chaotic.

I love them :') love this song. Everytime I listen to the songs again I think sporty should have been my favorite growing up, her voice is amazing, but no... child me thought for some reason that ginger has the coolest

song is hard, I like so many, the first that I remember to like a lot is Who Do You Think You Are.... and video is Wannabe :)

I remember watching the Giving You Everything Special and it was mentioned how Geri was the only one who never took formal dancing lessons [her mom couldn't afford it :(] whereas the others did....I actually see the weakness in the video. Geri isn't completely in sync like the others, I had never noticed it until now. I even remember Victoria mentioning that when Geri left the group the other girls mentioned that now they could do more choreography as a result.

That's kind of funny because their choreo isn't even that challenging and is pretty tame, yet she does tend to look stiff a lot of the time. Maybe it's the iconic platforms she was constantly wearing and she was nervous about hurting herself?

I guess her lack of training made her insecure? Cause I remember in the special she hired a dance teacher to give lessons and basics. Mel C commended her on it and Victoria mentioned that after Geri originally left the other felt they could do more choreography which means they felt she held them back.
