When I was little, I thought Top Gun was actually about my dad because he was a pilot and also worked the flight line on the weekends. i always thought sean penn tied madonna up and beat her with a gun but apparently it was just a rumor and madonna has said it's not true

See, this one i still think happened. The rumor was always he tied her to a chair and threatened her with a baseball bat. She escaped and went to the sheriff's office, but didn't want to press charges because he was already going to jail for 60 days for assault on a film extra/fan. She only recently denied it ever happened, but it allegedly happened in 1987 i think? It's weird that she only denied it when Sean was suing Lee Daniels for calling him abusive. Madonna and Sean are friends now and we know how abuse victims can cover for their abusers so i wouldn't be surprised if something had happened between them at that time and now she's walking it back to help him out
