honestly imo this shit starts in childhood. baby clothes with terms like ladies man, heartbreaker etc or weird ass ones about breastfeeding. ppl talking about their kids marrying their friend's kids when they're literally still in diapers.

19 was also the age when i was sexually assaulted so I'm just not down with this plot at all. Plus I've been ghosted by a guy who was put off by my desire to get to know each other before we had sex instead of just having sex after meeting IRL a few times so... ugh.
