It’s not bad just unusual and fans are reacting to that more then anything. His Instagram has been very “professional” for a really long time and he really only posts tour pics, announcements and the occasional “social awareness”/something going on in the world post.

He’s posted and deleted a couple of times now pictures that were clearly meant for close friends or a private account so this is probably another example of that. It’s just that fans will get real excited with him “acknowledging” 1D. He causes media circus when he does just about anything and I think people are freaking out that there might be a message behind this lol
