Finally seeing 'Emily' this weekend. Never heard of A Little White Lie or Palm Trees & Power Lines before, but now I'm intrigued

ETA: OK, I'm a little less intrigued by the 18% score for ALWL currently on RT now, lol

I'm not sure what post I saw it in, book or movie, but I started the book Best. Movie. Year. Ever. and holy crap it's so good. It's about movies that came out in 1999. So far they've covered Blair Witch, Go, Run Lola Run, Office Space, and I'm just reading about The Matrix. It has reaffirmed my pride in actually seeing Office Space in the theater.

i watched women talking and can’t believe they couldn’t get anyone into supporting actress (though that category has admittedly been a black hole of mayhem since michelle williams switched). great performances and a really well done adaptation. everyone was right about the colour grading being a choice though.

i’m excited to finally see living this weekend! a couple of my friends saw it at a festival a few months ago and loved it so i have high hopes.

I LOVED Women Talking and it wasn't nearly as traumatizing as I thought, it was beautifully balanced and just brilliant (whereas Till has been way too much to watch for me, I made it halfway and don't think I can finish it bc it's so brutal).

Half of Women Talking should have gotten noms IMO, including August.

I'll be watching triangle of sadness at some point.

Also I used to be a sucker for a Guy Ritchie film but after the summary for The Gentlemen I simply am not engaging because it seems like he will simply never give us a sequel we deserve. Tho we cannot get an UNCLE sequel because Armie is ... Armie

*spelling error correction i typed this in checkout at target lol

babe, do you want my screenpasses for March? Those moviesanywhere jerks sent out an email today that they're ending the screenpass program effective 5/1 so might as well make the most of them now.
