That's awful. I'm glad she was able to find peace in her own way. It sucks that the abuser hasn't faced legal justice but that route isn't right for every survivor.

"she stresses that her process of "restorative justice" has allowed her to confront the individual directly as part of her larger journey to heal."

Good for her. I don't like the entitlement people sometimes demand cause I think they want that name and shame for their own personal issues (like a vicarious thing) or just the drama/tea of it all even when the said victim does not want to go there.

I hope she gets the healing and justice she wants.

I agree. I see that here where people want actors to share details of toxic sets or "name and shame" people they talk about in interviews, and no one owes you their story. even if they are talking about someone in an interview, that doesn't mean they are obliged to name anyone or go any further than the details they want to publicly share.

Yeah I love a good name and shame but if the actor is indicating they don't want to go there, then I'm not gonna force it.

yeah, if someone wants to name someone, sure. that's their choice. but if they don't--like Jena in this case--people need to leave it alone.

Restorative justice is something I fully believe in but know would be very hard to deal with on such a personal level. Kudos to her for sticking with her morals in such a big way.

SO glad she feels peace

Whatever helps her the best, it's something she lived through, and while I champion street justice, she doesn't have to tell us shit.
