Chris Pine Covers Esquire

Introducing our March 2023 issue starring #ChrisPine.

Hollywood tried to turn him into a heartthrob, the handsomest of the Chrises. In the meantime, he was figuring out just what kind of actor-and man-he really wanted to be. @PAPPADEMAS writes: https://t.co/PhQV3ukFuR pic.twitter.com/X3UV6T1YNb

You know I wanted to insert a smartass cut but decided on this instead... )

Unless this man gives me fifteen summaries he didn't find online, the topic, main idea and sentiment of each book, and a target audience based recommendation - - I don't believe him. Men are always showing off like this without delivering

*so help me if I need to explain that this is a play on men gatekeeping games, comics, music, life

I think what you meant to say was that men lie about reading.

I enjoyed reading his suggested books! I love that he's honest that he picked up books because they had flashy laurels on them. Interesting how much he's into books set in war time with homosexual undertones.

I'd like for him to adapt some of these books to film and play a starring role... 👀 it would also be interesting to see his treatment of Colm Tóibín's work, I feel like he really has the appreciation and respect for it.
