Meanwhile he's whining about how hard it is for him to be a man of faith in Hollywood when no one gives a shit. Also didn't people figure out that he cheated on his wife with Jessica Simpson? But I suppose he forgave himself for that like he did for the hate crime he committed...

There’s no way his weirdo Ash Wednesday press tour wasn’t bc of the Jessica Simpson coming out. Can’t convince me otherwise!!!

Ngl, having HIM be the presenter for a predominantly Asian cast seems nefarious and intentional. The cast must’ve been so uncomfortable.

This was probably done as some kind of image rehab for Marky Mark. His violent attacks on people are not brand new information, but he probably has a movie or something coming out, and they are using this stunt to say “hey look, he’s a good person who made a mistake, let’s give him some grace”.

Exactly! I said the same exact thing in the other thread even though it sounds kind of conspiratorial

No that doesn’t sound conspiratorial at all to me. We’ve seen that the teams behind these shitty old white guys (and the shitty old white guys themselves) will do wild shit to try to rehab their images.

Hence Brad Pitt getting his ass licked all over the award circuit out of the blue and producing a movie about abuse against women, Debt being in a freaking Fenty fashion show for some reason, and Tom Cruise dressing up like a warthog to sing with James Corden, of all people.

I know Tom Cruise thing was probably planned way in advance but I honestly just find everything that man does suspicious lol

And didn't he then say that it's all good because he'd forgiven himself for the hate crime? I'm sure there were other instances of him being racist and/or violent too? Damn that absolutely real cancel culture and its completely existent consequences!!

It has never sat right with me that he got casted in The Departed, aka the Hollywood remake of HONG KONG MASTERPIECE Infernal Affairs.

and was somehow the only one to get an Oscar nom even though it felt like he was pretty much playing himself??? i know we all bitch about how Brad Pitt's PR works hard but how did that happen, jesus wept.
