This has been a long time coming and I wont be surprised if other countries follow suit. The show has strayed from the actual 'reality' concept and opted for cultivated images and faked diary room sessions, at least in America, since season 8. I would get extremely frustrated watching the feeds only to see them completely remove context, add fake storylines, make conversations look completely different, and push fake "personas" that werent the actual personas of the people on the show. I stopped paying for the feeds in season 11 and always skimmed for free ones after that. Not rewarding that kind of behavior. Lest not forget how they tried to give awful people like Evel Dick, Amanda Zimmerman, Nicole Franzel etc positive ~fun~ personalities when they were genuinely all terrible in how they treated other people.

They may as well cancel the show. The live feeds are the most important part of the show. It’s kind of a bizarre decision to make when the only reason the show is still on the air is because of the outpouring of support from live feeders when they tried to cancel it the first time.

yep. without the live feeds, we won't know the whole story.

like imagine last season with the whole taylor situation... they probably would have cut the whole kkkyle thing and we wouldn't have known what went down.

all to defend these racists

"help contestants state of mind" is a dumb excuse when they'll still be filmed all the time and won't know what footage will get released, although I guess the most vile people will have some peace knowing nobody will see how awful they actually are

Yeah, I won't be surprised to see this extend to BBUS one day. The fans will lose their shit too.

i hope not. they were using big brother last year to brag it had the most viewed minutes (counting live feeds) of any show last summer, beating stranger things.
