Okay, the old man segments are cute 😂 I don’t know how I feel about the chorus but I generally like the song.

huh, adam lambert covering billie eilish wasn’t something i knew i wanted, but i’m into it! he sounds great and is charming as always

this version also really drives home a thing a friend of mine said a while ago about how for all her warbling and production-side weirdness, billie is actually kind of a songwriter in the classic sense - there’s a real sturdiness to the way she constructs her songs, both lyrically and musically, that makes them very adaptable to different arrangements/performances because the bones are so solid

(and if anyone didn’t know this was a billie cover… stream happier than ever! i was really surprised by how much i fell in love with that album)
