Chelsea Handler has recently been a guest host for The Daily Show, and the show aired a comedy clip about "a day in the life of a childless woman."

Fox News host Tucker Carlson decided to give his opinion on the matter, claiming the point of Chelsea's video is to make you feel good about being an “aging, deeply unlikeable woman who never had kids

I saw that video and thought it was funny but overall I do find the childfree vs have children debates more annoying than anything. Like no one wants to mind their business at all.

I gotta say, I am child free and happy about it. I can’t imagine how awful giving birth would be with social anxiety disorder and not being able to take medication for it while pregnant because it could harm a baby, but raising a child these days must be so difficult. I don’t think I would be a good mother at all so I’m glad my womb is full of tumbleweeds or whatever that misogynistic piece of shit said.

I'm in the same boat. I don't think I would a good mom either. GAD with depression? Not good for a kid. I can't barely handle myself.

I don't hate kids but I've never wanted them. After my fam finally realizing that shaming or trying to make me feel sad that I've nothing to leave after I'm gone...they left me alone about it. Yeah, the earth's too populated anyway.

Probably one of the only things I like about Chelsea. So many parents would've benefitted from that self-awareness, which would've spared millions of unhappy, neglected children out there.

so many factors to consider
abuse, neglect, deadbeat dads (like half of dads qualify between cheating rates, lack of child support, and just being present/a good human), the cost of course - not only $$$, but the human cost of women throwing themselves into a pyre trying to raise child(ren) without enough help, care, or time
uuuuuuuhhhhhhhh soooooo many other things

i intend to have child(ren) and am heterosexual, but fully support other women not having child(ren) and have a pretty radical opinion on this apparently
i just know the numbers and outcomes better than a lot of other people, it seems
