the graphics team worked extra hard smoothing the pores and lines from reese's and ashton's faces lmaoooo. i can't. when she raises her eyebrows in one scene, nothing else on her forehead moves. even with botox that's not how skin works.

I hate smoothing/de-aging technology. I feel like I'm going crazy because it's such an ugly and obvious look to me in cinema and pictures but no one else ever comments on it, I guess cause most people are used to it through social media.

Even my fucking phone camera turns on a smoothing filter as soon as it recognizes that I'm human. I hate it so much.

i really hate it. back in the day (around 2000-2003) i was going to school as a commercial graphics artist. one of the things they drilled into us, when it came to photoshopping a person, was to leave some skin texture because it's uncanny valley when you remove all that.

i didn't realize phones did that these days! now i know why my iphone blended my double chin in a recent picture i took. i hated it because it's important to me to have authentic pictures of myself. i am who i am.
