As Beyoncé was announced as the winner of the musical award for her latest work, the camera panned to the audience and caught the producer saying the couple payed for it. This has been a rumor surrounding them before

If the theory is that she bought some of her Grammys why wouldn't she buy AOTY? She clearly has more than enough money to pay for it if the Grammys accept bribes.

I wonder what celebrities mean when they say people can buy it. This has been said by many celebs and I don't doubt it but I wonder what they mean. What does it entail etc.

I don't get it either. These awards are voted on by over 10,000 people so are they claiming that the Academy gets paid off to disregard the results and put their names on the envelope as winners? Or are they alleging category fraud? Or what?

I think when they allege they “bought it” they probably send perks or maybe actually money to the recording academy members and be like y’all gotta vote for Bey for album of the year if you want the perks or money however I feel like that should not even be legal but there are always loopholes lololol. I believe the list on who is under the recording academy is made public lol

I mean.... I wouldn't be surprised if it was somehow "bought." Everything about the Grammies is a sham and in no way based on merit. This isn't to say Beyonce isn't deserving of the award, just that the entire system seems bogus.
