1x3: Fifteen Minutes Jimmy witnesses Gaby in a compromising situation. Paul advises Alice on how to deal with her grief while facing a loss of his own.
I like Alice and Paul's secret meetings and their friendship, so part of me is a little disappointed that Jimmy knows about it.
This week's episode confirmed my feeling after watching the first two episodes last week: I'm much more interested in everyone else's relationships than I am in the main one (Jimmy and Paul). I like that everyone else is so three dimensional and messy.
i have only seen the first 2 episodes and despite some moments, i didn't really care for it. i think the premise of it just doesn't work for me. i have heard that they're the weakest eps of the show so i'm willing to watch more and see if it improves for me. i do kind of wonder if also maybe a different actor in the lead role would get me to buy in a bit more. i don't really buy or love what jason segel is doing.
I'm enjoying this much more than I expected! As a meddler, I kind of love the idea of just...making things happen as a therapist. Though obviously it's very unethical and a big mistake.
I did not know about the Parkinson's plotline ahead of time, and since my Dad is a grumpy old man with Parkinson's I fully expect this to wreck me.
