In what would be the third collaboration between the actor and director, Willem Dafoe is apparently in talks with Robert Eggers to join the upcoming film Nosferatu, based on the classic vampire story

He'd be a superior Nosferatu for sure, no offense to Skarsgard.

He played a supposedly real life vampire, the inspiration for Nosferatu, in the movie Shadow of the Vampire. I remember nothing of the movie.

Interesting. He already played Nosferatu (or rather, the actor who played Nosferatu who is probably a real vampire) in Shadow of the Vampire. He was great in that, such a fun movie.

I'm really looking forward to this but I hope it brings something new to the genre. The 1979 Nosferatu is one of my all time favorite movies and I doubt anything could top its incredible atmosphere. It's PG and absolutely terrifying.
