I gotta go see Close at some point since it was nominated, but I don't have a good feeling about it? Hopefully I'm wrong!

Too much of a wuss for Infinity Pool, I think, which sucks because I love them!

One Fine Morning looks good, will have to check that out.

Recent watches:

Turning Red - This was cute! Great example of the specifics making it feel general, if that makes sense. I didn't love the animation style, but that's just a personal preference thing.

Catherine Called Birdy - This was super fun and touching (and legit the first time I have ever found Joe Alwyn remotely attractive? idk why). Bella Ramsey was great casting, and I loved the surprise!Billie Piper. Andrew Scott was cute in it, too, and I definitely cried at his speech at the end.

Not trying to go anywhere with my sniffly nose, so will probably tackle another Oscar or Spirit Award nominee from the couch this evening.

i watched causeway yesterday and had some issues with the script, but thought the performances were excellent (yay brian tyree henry!)

might do triangle of sadness tomorrow and all quiet on the western front this weekend to cross a couple more best picture nominees off my list

I watched The Witch 2: The Other One. It was surprisingly boring compared to the first one.

I want to see Infinity Pool and I also noticed that Women Talking is now playing here so I'll see if I can fit that one in too.

I might also see Puss in Boots if I don't need to watch the previous movie/show first. I know I've seen something with him before since my niece used to always make me watch a cat dance fight scene lol

I was curious about Infinity Pool but from the trailer I feel I've seen it before. Yawn, give me some real gore and hedonism or be quiet, hollywood.
