I mean, every single one of the live-action adaptations has been absolute garbage. They all miss what made the original films endearing. As with all the others, I have no faith that it'll be good.

I mean, that's not necessarily true? People LOVED Cinderella for example and there is a lot of excitement for this movie. The last one/Mulan flopped for other reasons but I think people are ready for this.

their two best animated films were unwatchable as live-action. their track record is worse than abysmal and rob marshall is a total hack of a director. until the actual film is released and im proven wrong, ill continue having zero expectations for this being even remotely good.
