The way he's acted since everything happened made me wonder if this was pending. He was way too aggressive in the media trying to get ahead of it for it not to be something he thought was going to happen.

I feel awful for Halyna's family.

i've never heard of it and i'm so confused

"A guilty plea entered as part of a plea bargain by a criminal defendant who denies committing the crime or who does not actually admit his guilt. In federal courts, such plea may be accepted as long as there is evidence that the defendant is actually guilty."

so you say you're guilty legally, even if you think you aren't, and the evidence says you are? and what even is the outcome of that? how bizzare

i don't know the ins and outs of this case but how was he recklessly negligent? wasn't he given the gun with the understanding that there were no live rounds in it?

That’s been the claim but the sheriff’s department hadn’t finished their investigation yet. Now that they have he’s being charged so they must’ve found something to show he was also negligent. I don’t think they’d risk charging someone as high profile as him without anything to back it up.

that's wild. i wouldn't put it past him to be so self-involved that he didn't confirm that the gun was empty
