I think faith itself is a good thing, but most organized religions can be shot into the sun, they often do more harm than good.

For me, I don't have any issues with people being spiritual if that helps them but I have major problems with organized religion and people shoving their beliefs unto others and/or making them law.

I don't have to be 'religious' or have the fear of Hell to make me a moral and decent person.

Simple rule: Treat everyone/thing as you want to be treated. That covers a shitload of ground in my opinion.

Wasn't Jinger the one people were always saying would be the first to break free from the ye olde Duggar posts? ONTD school of clairvoyance winning once again

People are claiming her new church is a cult too so I don't know if she's actually free.

I generally don't like to speak of ~bad vibes~ for people I don't know (because so many annoying people on ONTD do this tbh) but I'll make an exception for this family. her husband has always kind of weirded me out. He was a professional athlete and went to a normal school and lived "in the world" as it were, but he still pursued a very sheltered homeschooled woman as his wife. idk. I'm sure there were tons of evenly matched life-experience wise Christian girls he could have met in university. I think a lot of people were hoping that BECAUSE he seems so "normal" that it meant Jinger hit the jackpot but I don't really think that ( ... )

Derick actually attended Oklahoma State University as an undergrad, and then he went through their law program as well.

She's still in a cult. Just her husband's cult and not her dad's.
