I feel so different from people who have returned to a maskless life out and about in public, it's very strange

I agree, I wish I could feel that way too. I can only understand in the case of people who just recovered from covid within the last few weeks, etc, in terms of odds of getting infected again that soon.

I'm masking up like a mofo and people in my area are too, and it's nice to see. It's a tripledemic now, I guess people are gonna fuck around and find out, and the innocent will pay again. I hate people who don't mask up and don't care about how this impacts teachers, nurses, docs, all healthcare employees, etc. And when something shitty happens, they blame the vaccine, like the morons that they are.

I've had so many docs resign this past year or take extensive leave, that I worry they'll quit altogether. And good doctors are really hard to find on government insurance!

As a pregnant educator, I've missed basically 2 months of my school year so far due to illness, and it's not even fucking covid. I'm the only one still masking.

edit: idk how to react at this point because like i assumed more people would come out having it but like why do they even have it now? covid is still a thing why weren't they making sure people test negative before packing them together in some place maskless????

This is what I don't understand. Even if you don't want to mask (dumb IMO), getting tested takes no time! Also, it would have been easy for the venue to install air purifiers throughout.

i mean Jamie Lee Curtis tested positive and the EEAAO cast went on to the AFI Awards attended by several of the same Golden Globe attendees so yeah... celebs arent exactly being cautious :/
