People are really dense about it sadly. If they want the experience of interacting with an elephant, just volunteer at an elephant orphanage ffs. Ugh, those same people are the same ones who gleefully take selfies as they ride the horse and carriages around Central Park not at all concerning themselves with whether or not the horses are being properly taken care of.

Would want to know whrre she did this, as I understand, most wildlife conservation areas at least in East and Southern Africa do not allow riding of elephants. South and Southeast Asia are still allowing which I hope is a practice that will soon be banned.
