I think making a biopic about Amy is just too much of a challenge if they're trying to make it true to life. Attempts to match her vocals, her style, and her frequent physical changes due to her ED and substance use have always ended up in uncanny valley. I also don't want a young actress getting torn apart for not being perfect enough - this type of role can be too much of a set up for failure.
