I need the Sweeney Todd soundtrack like yesterday. What I wouldn't give for them to do a proshot of this Broadway cast. Though, the concert performances are truly amazing.

Between all the closings and new announcements, I can’t keep up with all the theater news! This season is starting to feel crowded and there are rumors that there are still more shows waiting to announce.

I’m honestly pretty excited by Parade transferring though I am curious if they’ll have enough interest to run for 6 months. I guess we’ll learn how much Ben Platt’s name is worth.

I like everyone involved with NY, NY but I just can’t imagine it will last long on Broadway. Even with its pedigree, it needs a major draw to get the buzz going.

I’m starting to think about what I would want to see on my next trip and there’s just not enough room to fit everything. I was thinking about going in spring at first but then this morning Here Lies Love was announced so now I have to rethink things.

Yeah, I would really like to do a spring trip, too, but if the Three Sisters at NYTW ends up having a stacked cast for a summer run, I am gonna be so mad! Guess I am gonna wait and see if they announce at some point soon.

I recently went to the opening night of a new production of Turandot where the chorus and leads received a standing ovation but the director and creative team were booed lmao. It was definitely a weird take that didn't fully land for me, but the set was great and it was performed very well
