I watched Dr. Strange 2 last night, I enjoyed it. Gonna take myself out to the movies next week, not sure what I’m gonna see yet.

@scriptedending I finally got to see The African Desperate and while some parts were confusing ultimately I loved it. The critique scene was on point because there is always a professor that says something borderline racist.

I want to see Saint Omer for sure, and I still need to watch Puss in Boots. I also have a ton of stuff to watch for the Indie Spirit Awards.

On Sunday, I'm going to see Close Encounters of the Third Kind for the first time in a theater... excited for that!

This past week, we watched

- Bardo, which was overly long and self-involved, but I liked it fine. I feel like setting the trailer to "I Am the Walrus" was a great way to get me on board, and I always love the camerawork in his films.
- Fire of Love, aka Fuck Around and Find Out: The Movie. I thought a lot of the imagery was so beautiful, but it was hard to not yell "you're both fucking insane!!!" at the screen every two minutes. Idk how I felt about the narration.

I feel like we watched another movie, but I can't remember what right at this moment, and ig I forgot to log it on Letterboxd. I'm too young to be this forgetful!!
