aww i'm glad she decided to go on the podcast. i haven't listened yet, just read a recap.

i think killing Marissa off was a huge mistake, like it or not she was THE main character of the OC. the show had already gone downhill by the time she died, but season 4 was just a whole other level of awful. without Marissa, the whole vibe was off.

Yeah, I agree
It was like watching another tv show with the same actors

I actually liked 4 lol. I liked Autumn. I thought 4 was better than 2-3 but I guess I’m in the minority

Nah I’m with you! (Maybe we are both still in the minority lol). Season 3 in particular was a shitshow to me. Autumn was fun and she and Ben had good chemistry.

I hated that episode
I never even finished fourth season, because it wasn’t the original four
Also I thought they didn’t like Mischa because of what they said on the podcast earlier, but I guess I was wrong, so that’s good

I unironically think Marisa's death was Mischa's best acting moment. She was so atrocious on pretty much every other scene that when she died so realistically/quietly I was very surprised lol

She was rocky, yes, but sis could deliver tears and sadness in a very earnest way tbh lol.

I remember watching this in college. Season 1 was so good and 2-3 were pretty stale. Then 4 actually got good again iirc but it was too late to recover.

I actually think the last half of season 2 is A-tier (namely the Trey & Kirsten's drinking storylines)

S3 was terrible tbh. S4 was too silly but the show had gone stale by S2. But this season finale was so sad.
