I only just now realized that I have been confusing this book with "Starring Sally J. Freedman as Herself," which explains why every time I see a post with more news about the movie / trailer I keep thinking "wtf, this looks nothing like the book at all?!" Lol.

I remember reading this when I was a kid and pretty much imagining an adult as Margaret so it's funny to see that oh, yeah that's what a kid that age would look like.

Lol, same with wanting to start mine. I was a suuuuuper late bloomer - I didn't get my first one until I was 15, so of course I thought I was a freak. By 16 I was like "wow I am super over this, it sucks," lol.

My 7th grade biology class had us watch videos on puberty from the 70s, I think, and one was all about a girl wanting her period and other girls, like, asking her if she'd started or leaving notes in her locker about it. So bizarre.
